WHO IS IMO?

Ibi Meier-Oruitemeka (IMO) is a self taught artist based in the UK.
Ibi began painting for the first time in May 2024 and immediately felt a deep affinity with acrylics paints as a tool of soulful expression. Drawing inspiration from her British Nigerian identity, often exploring themes related to human connection and solitude. Her first collection of paintings sold out within a week of posting them online, her second collection sold out in just under an hour. She is currently working on a new collection of paintings and other exciting projects to be announced. Ibi lives in a small coastal town with her partner and two young children.
